Dog Walk Person Talk
People walk dogs to satisfy their exercise routine,
As they walk they generally talk to themselves,
The conversation is gabled to make any sense,
Because they cannot utter this logic to his wife,
Wife would not talk with husband this exchange,
The dog just listens, wiggles the tail and smiles.
Man will tell the dog how he traveled on 95,
At a speed of 80 to get around the cops,
They did not spot him because he was going fast,
The cop was concentrating on some other speeder,
Turned rotating green and red light to stop the guy,
Meanwhile I slowed down and cruised at 65.
The dog enthusiastically listed to the tail and said,
Really, but it sounded like nothing the dog had said,
The man asked the dog if he heard the story told,
The dog said, sure, I have my own problem with walk,
The fat around my belly is giving me the fits,
Why don’t you give me some food to make me slim.
The man flabbergasted about his dogs routine, said,
My ring around my belly is two and a half foot sick,
It hangs lining forward like it wants to drop down,
My back is aching holding the entire weight up,
I can’t walk straight the weight is making me stop,
I wish I was a dog and could tell you my plight.
