Motion is a Healing Lotion

Motion is the essence of life it makes your gestalt move about,
In its utmost sphere of action, motion produces a lotion to lubricate,
It carries the created lotion to parts of the body that generate friction,
Friction is painful without lotion; bones yearn lubrication to easily slide,
Consequently, movement of various bones is spared friction to glide.

We take this action for granted and do not pay attention while young,
When we reach our age of respect, the bones have a problem to move,
Doctors are eager to operate and propose an even chance to get better,
There is this fear that in an operation something could go wrong,
The end result cannot be changed and additional operations make it worse.

Gradually the concept of operations is deferred until all avenues are checked,
It is done at a very slow pace because Doctors tend to lose a lot of money,
So the education of positive operations is incensed and the patient informed,
The end result is generally in the doctor’s favor because the layperson is uninformed,
After the operation, some suffer more because the corrective action failed.

So what’s now, where are we going to get help, well, in motion there is lotion,
When the Israelites were in the desert, they ate manna and none of them was fat or
sick,
Consistently they were in motion because boredom would have made them ill,
They moved from place to place; in that charade they did not know the ills,
Until Joshua moved them past Jordan, they stayed put and hardly moved.

The social status made some of the chosen people fat and alcohol prone,
They were sicker than the poor and died at an earlier age, wondering why?
All the generations have successfully passed by and now we find ourselves,
Living longer and the bones cry for lotion in the knees, hands and spine,
The scenario outlined sort of fit our social status and sick bones benign.

Now here’s the punch line and obey, walk each day, swim if you can,
Learn Yoga, Tai Chi, and Falun Gong, yes they are old concepts to move,
But you may want to see the doctor for his favored pills, get it and live,
Otherwise learn about the disciplines of obedience, follow their prognosis,
Diligently exercise the ancient art of meditation with your doctor’s advice.

Do I do it, affirmatively yes; I am a yogi and live by its art,
as much as I can and am able to be obedient and wise.
